Couriers
I use a team of reliable and fully insured couriers to mainland Britian who take the up most care to ensure that your furniture arrives safely and within the arranged time slot. My couriers offer an indoor service and can place your furniture in a room of your choice and if preferred can also unpack it.

Delivery fees
Mainland Britian are at a fixed rate of £80.00
Highlands & Islands – Please contact me first as an additional cost may apply.
If you require a two man service please contact before purchasing.

Packaging
Safe delivery of my furniture is of the up most importance to me. Every piece is wrapped carefully to ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition, please inspect your furniture upon delivery.I use a team of reliable couriers that delivery all over the uk and take the up most care to ensure that your furniture arrives safely and within the arranged time slot.

Returns

Please do make sure that you have measured your space before ordering your furniture. I have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You must use a reputable courier to ensure that the item arrives in its original condition and are responsible for the cost of return.
 
Please note that tailored and customised items do not fall within these guidelines and are non refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective.

These Terms and Conditions are here to make sure we're all on the same page and can enjoy a smooth and pleasant sales experience together, so please read them carefully and do let us know if you have any questions.
BY PLACING AN ORDER WITH US, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Pre-Order:

  1. The Use of Top-Quality Products:

Before you make your purchase, for your peace of mind, it's important to know that we take great pride in using only the highest quality and tried-and-trusted products for our transformations. Your piece is crafted with the utmost care and quality. Rest assured that the chances of issues are incredibly rare.
However, in the very unlikely event that any problems arise AFTER you take receipt, please don't hesitate to contact us immediately. We're here to ensure your complete satisfaction and will do our very best to help.

 

  1. Photography:

We love to capture the magic as we transform your furniture. Before, during, and after the makeover, we might snap some photos and videos. We'd like to share these to showcase our work on our website, in newsletters, on social media, and in presentations. If you'd rather keep your order all to yourself, just let us know in your acceptance email.
 
Receipt of the Item:

  1. Couriers:

We work with only trusted couriers who offer one-man delivery services nationwide. Sometimes, they might need a hand during delivery. If you're considering a two-man delivery, or have any questions, please reach out to us. Our courier will get in touch with you directly to keep you in the loop.
 

  1. On Receipt of Your Order:

Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we want to ensure that your piece of furniture arrives in the condition you purchased it. We kindly ask that you take a moment to check the item while the courier is present. If you notice any damage, please make a note of it and mention it to the courier immediately. Taking photographs of any visible damage at this point is also a good idea, and then get in touch with us. This way, we can address any issues promptly and make your experience as smooth as possible.
If we do not hear from you within 24 hours of receipt of your order, we will assume the order has been delivered in a satisfactory state.
 
 
Post Order:

  1. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:

First of all, thank you for trusting us with your order, we’re delighted to be working with you.
We're proud to offer a very generous returns policy (see below), but please note there are certain items, for understandable reasons, that fall outside the scope of this policy. These exceptions are as follows and include:

  • items that have been in your use for more than 14 days and/or have experienced damage from everyday wear and tear.

  • custom orders, for example, commissioned furniture and personalized items.

  • Sale items (unless faulty)

 
Additionally, it's important to note that upcycled furniture, by nature, may bear signs of a previous life. Any such signs and unique features will have been pointed out, to you, and noted, during the sale process and your purchase is made in the knowledge of these characteristics.
If you have questions about your specific item, don't hesitate to reach out.

 

  1. Returns:

We offer a 14 day return policy, giving you 14 days  from receiving your item to requesting a return.
To get the return process started, send us an email at rachael@classiclinesdesigns.co.uk and let us know what you’re returning and why.
For the item to return safely in its original condition, you'll need to use a reliable and fully insured furniture courier, so please get in touch if you need any help sourcing a suitable courier.
Please ensure you take photos before the courier collects the item to protect you from any damage in transit.
Please bear in mind you're responsible for the return shipping costs, so when sending back the item, pack it up carefully and send it to:

  1. Faulty Item

In the case of a faulty item, we'll reimburse your return shipping costs along with your refund.

  1. Refunds:  Our Commitment

Within 24 hours of receiving your return, we will carefully examine and assess the item and will promptly reach out to discuss the next steps with you.
If we agree a refund, we'll process the refund to your original payment method and will notify you.  But please just keep in mind that it may take a few days to go through the banking systems.

As mentioned above, these terms are in place to protect both you and us, ensuring a transparent and fair experience, but we apologise if the language seems a bit formal; we believe in clarity, and sometimes, that can come across as such.

Care instructions

When looked after well your painted and refinished furniture will bring you enjoyment for many years to come.

All vintage furniture has history and therefore may have minor imperfections but this is just a part of its character and charm.

 

All painted furniture will need to cure for up to 28 days before it is fully hard, so it needs to be treated with care during this time.


Here are a few simple steps to help maintain the sustainability of your furniture.
- Use coasters where possible to protect the surface
- Wipe up any spills as soon as possible
- Clean with a slightly damp microfibre cloth and dry with a clean cloth
- Do not use any polishes on your furniture
